GST & Central Excise Delhi Zone

From Principal Chief Commissioner's Desk

Welcome to the refurbished website of the GST and Central Excise, Delhi Zone.

As you are all aware, the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) with effect from 1st July, 2017 brought a paradigm shift in the Indirect Tax administration of our country in as much as all the States along with the Central Indirect Tax Administration are now administrating the same tax laws in so far as the Indirect Taxes is concerned. This policy initiative of the Government has indeed made our country ‘One Tax One Nation One Market’, a reality. Consequent to the Introduction of GST, the field formations of Central Indirect Tax administration are also reorganised by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs and accordingly the jurisdiction of the Delhi Zone has also been revised.

The revised jurisdiction of the GST and Central Excise Delhi Zone in National Capital Territory of Delhi which in turn has four Commissionerates of GST and Central Excise, namely GST North, West, East & South, GST Audit-I, GST Audit-II, Appeal-I and Appeal-II. By and large, the taxpayers in the Delhi Zone have been assigned to the four GST and Central Excise Commissionerates based upon the PIN Codes.

I am sure the refurbished website of the Delhi GST Zone would be found useful by the stakeholders.

Jai Hind!
